I’m back! What a great and much-needed vacation.
Slowly but surely I’m getting back into the swing of things. Last night was a great welcome back with the SaraBozich.com Happy Hour at Dodge City. So many people visited for their first time (if it’s been on your list to try, I recommend hitting the patio before it gets too cold) and sampled from Dodge City‘s truly great cocktail menu.
Their bartender, Jase, is trained by Capitol Bartending School and is making delicious cocktails with great ingredients. And Dodge City offers martini flights so you can try more than one! We’ll have more on this later, so stay tuned.
This weekend, I’m back into our bathroom renovation project. I have more painting to do, but once that is complete, I’ll post our transformation (spoiler alert: This was not a DIY project, but it’s a vast improvement).
I’m also looking for ideas to entertain our nieces when they visit the first weekend in October. I’m planning on a trip to Paulus Farms for pumpkin picking, etc., but I’ll take any other (free/cheap) suggestions for entertaining a 7 and 5 year-old.
Meanwhile, I’m also hoping to check out an Oktoberfest celebration or wine harvest festival this weekend — there are plenty!
Need more inspiration? Tune in tomorrow morning at 7:10 a.m. to The Rock’n Roll Breakfast on The River 97.3 for “Sara’s Weekend Picks.”
