It’s another crazy week for me — not that I’m complaining — but I was excited to take a mid-week break to The Speakeasy last night for a special Elysian Tap Takeover.
My absolute favorite — and only available at The Speakeasy for a limited time (or, you know, Seattle, Wash.) — was the Elysian Calatrava, a pumpkin beer made with 100 habanero chilies and 30 vanilla beans. So good! Other favorites were the Elysian Plumkin and Elysian Mortis. Stop in and check them out while still available — they won’t last.
Tonight, my pretties, is my girlfriend’s annual Witches Night, where we park our brooms for some wine and ghoulish chatter whilst donning witch’s hats.
And tomorrow, we’re heading to a preview of Hersheypark in the Dark, before stopping by Arooga’s Downtown for a sampler of pumpkin beers.
That leaves the weekend rather wide open, but why not when there is so much to choose from?
Need more inspiration? Tune in tomorrow morning at 7:10 a.m. to The Rock’n Roll Breakfast on The River 97.3 for “Sara’s Weekend Picks.”
