I hope everyone had a wonderful mid-week holiday. Hopefully many of you planned in advance and are off through the weekend.
Catch up on our Holiday posts & more.
Today, we’ll be sifting through our loot, cleaning and getting ready for the trip to the other side of the family this weekend. We may even make time to whip up some peanut brittle. We’d also love to see a movie (but keep arguing about which — it’s Andy’s turn, but I don’t want to watch The Hobbit).
Tonight, friend invited us over for some post-holiday celebration with cigars, port and whiskey. Then tomorrow we’d headed to the great Pennsylvania Wilds, where they’ve already received plenty of snow. Hoping to reenact this awesome photobomb.
It’s a low-key weekend leading up to New Year’s Eve — You can find my picks here — but there are still a handful of events and live music opportunities to keep you properly entertained.
Glenn’s traveling, so we’re taking the week off from The River 97.3, but I’ll be back next weekend with my top picks!
