This week was supposed to be about wine. I was supposed to go to a wine tasting at a friend’s on Tuesday night, and I was supposed to have QT (wine compulsory) with the blonde on Wednesday night — but no, I’ve been sick.
I’m hoping to be well enough this afternoon to see Nebraska with my dad at Midtown Cinema, after which Andy and I will might (he’s sick, too) go to the GIANT Center for the PIAA Wrestling Championship (my brother-in-law is coaching). Hoping I also am well — and convincing — enough to hit Troegs or The Wick on the way back to try the new Cultivator Helles Bock (It’s not looking good).
Friday night is – among other things – The Hold Steady at the Abbey Bar. I don’t know if more snow is coming for sure or not, but if so, that’ll probably cancel my plans for my photography lesson and ValenWine’s excursion. Also all assuming I’m over this fever.
Need more inspiration? Tune in tomorrow morning at 7:10 a.m. to Glenn & Bob on The River 97.3 for “Sara’s Weekend Picks.”
